Opps,i was busy over the weekend so i forgot to blog,i need to make it a pattern!
Sunday was quite a busy day,in the morning a new livery horse arrived owned by some lovely Parelli people from north Cornwall, they are loaning him to a local girl (so mabey we will have another natural horsemanship student at the yard?!).Then it was off to a playday at Sharon Haines's yard,I took Rio and Lisa took her horse 'Micky' (Lisa is my friend from the yard who has just started her Parelli journey).I played with Rio for abit,(i forgot how fun he is to play with) then mum spent the rest of the time playing with him.As i didnt have a horse to play with,Sharon gave me the privlage of playing with her 'Rio', he was alot of fun, what seemed like a low spirited horse came to life when we left the sand school and went and played in the field! Lisa also did really well for her first playday with Micky.
Plum is still a little sore on her foot, but definatley getting better, there is still abit of puss in her heal that needs to come out,so a few more days with it bandaged up and soaking it and hopefully she should be back to normal. She was not happy at being left behind on Sunday and is eager to be played with, but did appreciate the 'Winnies cookie' that i brought her back from Colorado!
I will have to take some more photos to show you what it's like in this part of the world ;-)
