I have been very busy!
First a little update on Plum, she was getting alot better,my trimmer came and we concluded that the absess had gone and she just had a little infection in her frog.So she was on that treatment and by the end of the week she was sound.Next day i find her hopping around on 3 legs, the absess is back,so lots of soaking her foot and i wait for the absess to burst! The fun part was conviencing Plum that having her foot in the water was not so bad,2 sessions and lots of positive reinforcement later and now she can't wait to have her foot soaked!
Rio has been having lots of attention since Plum has been out of action. We went to a playday at Sharon's last Sunday, the theme being Parelli games and Spotlights. Me and mum both took him around the Parelli games, and scored quite well.Although the highlight for me was the spotlights,i did a liberty spotlight with Rio,and it was the best liberty i have ever got with him,it really made me realise how far he has come since i got him in 2008,he has been one of my biggest challenges! Lisa took her little shetland 'Jaffa' to the playday, they did really great and tryed out some new patterns, that they'd never done before.
Watch this space, there may be new additions to the herd soon!..........

Finally,more photo's!
